Braille
menus
...as easy as
'Could I have the Braille or large print menu please?'
That's the last thing you want to hear in the middle of a busy
service... especially if you don't have one!
We produce a number of options to enable print disabled people
who cannot read your standard menu for whatever reason - sight,
literacy or language to enjoy a truly independent dining
experience.
We produce the following Braile and Braille with large print options:
Braille menu with plain encapsulated covers and comb bound
Braille menu as above but with your logo, name of venue and so
on, on the covers
Braille menu with large print (18pt) corresponding with the
Braille on the same page...
(This enables your waiting staff to follow what the Braille
reader is referring to)
Braille menu with a large print section in the 2nd part of the menu
Braille menu pages to put in your own menu folder.
All of the above are supplied with guidance notes of how to
guide visually impaired people.
It's unlikely you'd need more than one copy
of a Braille menu, two at most.
Have you considered audio menus? We have a number of options,
some of which don't require you to provide equipment for the
diner to use - we call them 'Talking paper' options. We also
produce QR:AudioCode access, talking menu phone apps and podcast
menus your diners can access on their tablets.

Providing this kind of service to visually impaired or print
disabled diners will make their visit to your restaurant all the
more enjoyable as they'll be confident they've made the right
decision on the venue before they even leave home.
And you can bet that word will get around.
