We'll take care of everything for you.
But you do need to make a few important decisions.
Do you require a reply?
If you expect the recipient to get back to you, then it's a good
idea to mention at the end of the letter that they can contact
you by phone (this could make life much easier for you) - and remember to include the number; by email
(some will have access to the internet); or in person. If they
reply in Braille you'll probably incur additional cost for a
transcription: whist expecting a reply in writing could be a
problem for the recipient. If they respond by cassette - do you
have the facility to listen?
Are you requesting personal data or
information
If you're sending a form that needs completion, consider
offering to complete it over the phone with them, or suggest
that a
relative or trusted friend maybe able to help if the
information is not of a private, personal or confidential
nature. Then you don't have to go to the expense of having
the form transcribed to Braille.
Postage
Do you wish the Braille document to be sent back to you to send
out or deliver or sent direct to the recipient along with the
original document?
Do you wish the document to be sent by Special Delivery?
We can easily set this up for you - post the Braille and
original direct to the recipient
and send you the track and trace details.
Special requirements
Some customers may ask for single-sided
embossing; treasury tagged documents, or even extra line
spacing. Generally speaking, if they have preferences, they will
tell you. You don't need to ask. Whatever is requested, we'll do
it. But if there are no requests, we'll use the common format of
double sided embossing, comb binding (unless a single page, or
two, when we'll treasury tag) and single line spacing.
